TITLE

Epidemic disease with Wu Yun Liu Qi Theory (Su Wen #66-74)

DESCRIPTION

Su Wen Chapter 9 and Ling Shu Chapter 7 emphasise the importance of the observing of the timing of the season and the arrival of the appropriate weather and cyclic patterns, in order to understand and apply the knowledge of the transformation of the Five elements. Thus, it is stated that a physician who does not understand or misinterprets the peaks and valleys of the cycles of nature, will not understand the mechanism by which people get sick.

The objectives of this seminar are to introduce Wu Yun Liu Qi theory to all TCM students and TCM practitioners in Australia. Wu Yun Liu Qi theory (五运六气理论) occupies 7 chapters in Su Wen from Su Wen (Chapter 66 to 74). After this seminar, as well as understanding Huang Di Nei Jing in more depth, you will be able to translate and predict each year’s weather changes and disease outbreaks, deepening your understanding around paradigms of previous epidemic disease outbreaks such as SARS, MERS and COVID-19. The prediction of 2021 and 2022 will be practised during the seminar.
